Here are some values that I follow, itβs based on the Stoicism philosophy. There is a good article about it, The Highest Good: An Introduction To The 4 Stoic Virtues. Iβm not used to the word temperance, a good synonym is moderation, I decided to divide in discipline and self-control. I got the definitions from Oxford Languages.
- Discipline
- The controled behaviour resulting from such training.
- Activity that provides mental or physical training.
- A system of rules of conduct
- Self-Control
- The ability to contorl one self, in particular one's emotions and desires, especially in difficult situations
- Justice
- Just behaviour or treatment
- The quality of being fair and reasonable
- Courage
- The ability to do something that frightens one, bravery.
- Strength in the face of pain or grief.
- Wisdom
- The quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgement, the quality of being wise.
- The fact of being based on sensible or wise thinking
- The body of knowledge and experience that develops within a specified society or period.
